The detailed design is 97% complete on the development in both residential and commercial new build schemes.
Additional time is being taken by Waverley Borough council to sign off pre-commencement conditions which has been extremely frustration however despite this we have progressed well on all design aspects as well as about to commence the tendering phase to local building contractors.
We expect tenders to be returned by Xmas with appointment made during January subject to final sign off by the planners on all pre-commencement conditions including material selection. This important step includes choice of surface for roadways, wall and roof tiles, brick and window selection.
Subject to tender programmes we anticipate build to commence in February 2022 with completion early 2023. These assets will be retained in our long-term portfolio and refinanced upon completion onto a BTL finance facility.
